Why do I need an appointment?

It is our goal to provide you with the attention and care that you deserve when shopping for your "dream wedding gown." We recommend a bridal appointment to guarantee that a dedicated bridal consultant is available to assist you, 

If you wish to browse through our beautiful wedding gowns before making an appointment, we invite you to stop by and take a look. We will happily assist you in securing a convenient appointment time.

 

How long do bridal appointments last?
Our bridal appointments typically last 1 to 2 hours. If you need more time to find your "dream wedding gown," we will happily extend your appointment providing we do not have another scheduled bridal appointment.  We will also be happy to schedule a second appointment if you desire additional time to make a decision or try on more gowns. 

 

I have a child I'd like to bring with me to my appointment. Are children allowed?

It is our wish to provide every bride a memorable and cherished experience without distractions while selecting her dream wedding gown. We strongly encourage child care arrangements to be made for children under the age of 5.  If you would like your child to be part of your wedding gown selection process, please call us so that we can attempt to provide special accommodations. 

 

I have an appointment scheduled. How should I prepare for my appointment?

No special prepartions are required for the appointment. We do, however, recommend that you bring a nude strapless or corset bra and wear appropriate undergarments.

What happens if I have to cancel a bridal, bridesmaid, or tuxedo appointment?

We understand that situations may arise and an appointment may need to be cancelled. We ask that you thoughtfully contact us asap to let us know that you are unable to make the appointment. We require a deposit to secure another appointment if you no show an appointment. 

 

What is the price range for Special Order Bridal Gowns?
We have an array of beautiful designer gowns in every price range. Our bridal gowns start at $800.

 

I am getting married soon and do not have time to order a gown. Does Main Street Bridal have bridal and bridesmaid's gowns to purchase Off-The-Rack?

Don't fret, we have a wonderful selection of sample bridal and bridesmaid's gowns to offer you. We also have an ample supply of special occasion, prom, and MOMS gowns for immediate purchase*.
 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Order times vary depening on the designer and the style of the gown. The majority of our designers  take approximately 4 - 6 months for bridal orders to arrive. Rush orders are an option but may incur an additional fee.

 

I've heard that bridal and special occasion gowns run small, is that true?
Yes, it is! We take each of our designer's individual sizing chart and order the appropriate size of gown. Don't be alarmed when we order a gown a size or two larger than your regular ready to wear clothing. 

 

I am planning a destination wedding. Can Main Street Bridal ship my gown ?
You bet! We can ship your wedding gown or bridesmaid gowns anywhere in the U.S. for an additional fee. If you are out of state, you may not incur a sales tax.

 

Does Main Street Bridal provide alteration services?
Of course!  We are proud to boast that we have one of the most experienced bridal seamstress in Central Texas.  Alterations are NOT included in the price of the gown and are not performed in-store. Our experienced seamstress will happily meet with you at our boutique to discuss alteration charges and estimates and will deliver your gown to our boutique. 

 

I am wishing to preserve my beautiful wedding gown. Does Main Street Bridal offer gown preservation?

Absolutely! We have several gown preservation options to choose from. We offer gift certificates especially for this service. We recommend you add this investment to your Wedding Registry...what a wonderful and thoughtful gift this will be. 

 

What forms of payment does Main Street Bridal accept?
We accept cash, personal check (for your intial deposit), and all major credit cards. Please remember that most major credit cards or bankcards have a daily maximum spending limit which may need to be adjusted prior to your appointment. 

 

 

*Dependent on the gown and style a restock fee may be incurred for the luxury of buying off the rack.
